My Store is not converting, please help!

Hi, 

 

We are working so hard on our website (complete novices) and we have seen an increase in visitors; organic, google ads & Pinterest however we are not seeing conversions inline with the increased flow.  I wonder if you could take a look and be blunt and honest with us as to where we are going wrong and what we can do to improve. We have little to no budget for investment so really appreciate your time and honesty here. 

 

We are at the stage of giving up but with all our effort that would be awful. We really believe in our little business and it means the world, so please do not hold back - we are very grateful.

Our platform is Shopify, www.larosierprints.co.uk. We use a theme called Studio, version 15.2.0.

 

We have some basic custom coding for appearance mainly and a number of apps that I assume will code back end, page builders, reviews etc

Thank you for doing that! We have recently revamped but are certainly not against a re-revamp if that is what it takes, do you have any specific suggestions? SERP is a nightmare since the "revamp" our google listing is all over the place, we have resubmitted a site map but otherwise cant find a quick fix. Again open ears for any and all suggestions! Thank you!

2. Product Pages – Clarity and Persuasion:

The product pages are really important in getting people to click that "Add to Cart" button. A few key suggestions here:

  • Product Descriptions: They could be more detailed, emphasizing not just the product, but also the emotional appeal. For example, tell the story behind each print, the inspiration, or the quality of materials used. Buyers want to feel the experience and value in their purchase.

  • Call to Action: The “Add to Cart” button could be more prominent. Consider making the button larger, or using a more contrasting color to make it stand out.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response and your time, it really is much appreciated. We will take on board your points as we continue to edit and keep pushing (for now at least). I want to be really honest, as per my initial post we do not have any budget and unfortunately this post resulted in mostly unsolicited contact via website, email and social media from people looking for customers for their businesses, e.g. marketing, Conversion specialists etc. I am fully on board with them pushing their business as we try to push ours, however I don't want to waste anyone's time here. I wish we could afford you all, I really do, but unfortunately we cannot. We had hoped to speak to others in a similar boat to find out what they had tried, what had worked and what hadn't but unfortunately that has not been the case. However, your advice Rossie G, was invaluable to us, thank you again for being honest and helpful and generous with your time and effort.  If and when we do have a budget I will find you first as instead of trying to sell us something you showed up and proved your value 🙂
