My store is showing out of stock on every product?

Hi does anyone know how to disable inventory tracking for the whole store, there used to be a way to do this but Shopify seem to have got rid of this option. 

Currently, my store has out of stock showing instead of the buy now button on my product pages. This is a new issue, my store was working properly a couple of days ago. 

I've spoken once again to Shopify support, who once again cannot answer or help with my issue, so I'm on my own now. Absolutely disgusting.

Really at the end of my tether with Shopify, any help would be appreciated.

@Halfpipe75 You have to turn off inventory manually for all the products variants (You have to untick from "Track quantity"). Unfortunately there is no way to do it automatically.

Hi Thanks for the response, up until this week everything was fine and available.

I've just checked and the inventory tracking is all turned off on these products, but my store is showing SOLD OUT instead of buy now.

If I upload a new product they aren't tracked, so something has happened with this.

I can't manually adjust all the products and variants of products, that's insane as I have 40,000+ to edit then, so it's not feasible.

Looks like I'm shutting my website down and going elsewhere as that is madness

@Halfpipe75 In that case , You can hire someone to it manually for you. It may takes 1 week to complete.

Thanks anyway, That's not happening, I refuse to pay to rectify an issue that Shopify have engineered the solution out of their software.

A previous post explained the solution, but in Shopify's infinite wisdom have engineered this solution out of the current software. https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-discussions/globally-disable-inventory-tracking-for-entire-s...

I'd rather set up another store with a better e-commerce solution that actually works, without glitches and has customer support that can help rather than just waste time.

But, I'm a print on demand store, so I hold no inventory so keeping accurate stock levels is straight out the window.

Double-check your inventory settings:  The inventory tracking is all turned off on these products.

Theme customization: It's not about hiding the out of stock message, they buy button has changed to a button saying sold out.

Third-party apps: Everything was working correctly up to this week, something has broken and Shopify are wiping their hands of it.

Wix might be an option

Not at the minute, I'm currently looking into several options and Wix is potentially one, but I'm not jumping into anything without a full understanding of things so I'll just take my time making a decision.

Have you tried checking the products with bulk edit? You might have missed something

Thanks for the response, unfortunately the track quantity option is unticked, also if i choose the sell when out of stock option the button changes to Pre-Order. Something in the code is broken i think

Did you make sure you have positive number in Available quantity?
