My store still hasn't upgraded to one page checkout.

My store still displays the old 3-step checkout. I've been waiting years for a one-page checkout and now that it is finally here, there is a problem and I can't use it yet. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I contacted customer support and all they could tell me was that they don't know anything.

Could you advise if you received an email regarding an update to the one-page checkout design? Additionally, can you provide more detail on your support interaction and what information was shared?

 

I recommend checking your inbox for email communication regarding the one-page checkout availability. On October 2nd, you should  automatically be updated to the one-page checkout. Could you try navigating to your Shopify admin > Settings > Checkout section? If updated, you should see a green banner underneath Checkout that states: Your checkout has been updated to one-page checkout.

Hi! Yes, I received an email days ago saying I could upgrade manually in advance and that if I didn't, I would be upgraded anyway on the 2nd of this month. No banners, no new settings to toggle. Just the same 3-page checkout since then. The previous customer service rep also asked to see the email. But the main issue is that if all stores are being upgraded on the 2nd, and my store isn't, there is a problem. No? Thanks for the attention. Hope to get this resolved quickly.

be happy, the one-page checkout will decrease your conversion rate. Very bad step of Shopify. We want 3-page checkout back!!!

It's almost essential to have one-page checkout where I operate. People here are very hesitant to give out personal info before knowing if the store has their preferred payment method or not. I get major drop-off when they reach the first page of checkout. But I guess time will tell if it works better or not!
