All things Shopify and commerce
Hello everyone,
I'm currently facing an issue with my Shopify store and could really use some help.
I'm trying to ensure that SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) appear in the search results on my store. Specifically, when a customer searches for a product by its SKU, I want that product to show up in the search results. Right now, it seems like the search function only picks up product titles and descriptions, but not SKUs.
Does anyone know how I can modify the search functionality to include SKUs in the results? Is there a specific setting, app, or code adjustment that I can use to achieve this?
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Lorenzo
Hi @guerralampadari,
To ensure that SKUs appear in the search results on your Shopify store, you can use our Yoast SEO for Shopify app. This app helps you improve your product descriptions and includes a check to remind you to add important product details like SKUs. Adding SKUs to your product pages not only helps with search engine optimization but also makes it easier for customers to find your products by their SKUs.
Our app has a 14-day trial, you can test all its features and see how it can enhance your store’s visibility and effectiveness. Give it a try and see the difference it can make!
Here are some steps you can follow:
