Need help with a purchase that was never sent, seller lost their site on shopify

I need some help, Shopify, and I don't know how to actually reach a person.

In August, I made 2 purchases from a site called Discowitch Apothecary. The orders were never sent, every time I followed up with the shop owner she would tell me they were going out the next day. I got this response numerous times. Eventually, her shopify site suddenly stopped working. She is on tiktok/IG and was constantly telling people she didn't know how to get her shop back, that shopify was working on it, contact shopify for the refund, or do a chargeback from the bank. Well, I can't do a chargeback with my bank because by the time this all happened, it was greater than 60 days from when I ordered. I havent been able to reach anyone at shopify. The shop owner has completely stopped responding to my emails regarding a refund and when I asked her about it on tiktok, she blocked me. I know she has numerous others she has done the same with.

So my question is how do I get my money back? I have all our conversations saved where she acknowledges the orders were never sent and promises to send a refund but it never happened.

Based on what you've described above, your only option for getting your money back would be filing a chargeback with your credit card company. Most major credit cards have a chargeback window of 120 days, so you may still be able to initiate one. 

 

Shopify wouldn't be able to refund you. You'd have to deal with your credit card company directly.

As I said in my post, the orders were made in August and my bank will not do a chargeback.
