Need help with private messages on Shopify Community

Hello Community, We are PageFly - a Free Shopify Landing Page Builder.
We are sharing knowledge on community and so many users reach to us through private messages. However, we have run into this error message for couple weeks which is "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later" Like in this image.

Have anyone been through this before and how can you solve this?

I got this message as well when I tried to respond to a private message. And I'm not even messaging a lot.
I responded once yesterday, which was my first message since January! And now when I tried to respond for the second time to the same person, 25 hours later, I get the message.
Seems a bit excessive to me. Too excessive. So excessive that I might think this to be a bug.
