Don't know why customers come to my site but don't buy. I have great products but no sales.

The average conversion rate varies between 1 and 3%.

That is, you need 100 visitors to make a sale (and these have to be targeted visitors, not random people, who have just clicked your ads and exited).

And that if everything else is OK - by everything else I mean a good-looking site, working checkout, brand/trust building, reviews, etc.

Hi @iglowellc

It sounds like you're facing a common challenge in e-commerce. Here are some strategies that might help you convert visitors into customers:

  1. Research Your Audience: Understanding your audience is crucial. Knowing who they are and what they need can help you tailor your store to meet their expectations. Consider investing time in audience research to make more informed decisions.

  2. Build Trust: Customers need to trust your store before making a purchase, especially for larger transactions. Ensure your store appears legitimate by adding a good contact page, security seals, and customer reviews.

  3. Optimize Your Checkout Page: A complicated checkout process can deter customers. Allow guest checkouts, keep the process short, and consider removing discount code fields to prevent users from leaving your site to search for discounts.

  4. Technical Performance: Ensure your store is technically sound. It should load quickly and be mobile-friendly, as technical issues can negatively impact conversion rates.

  5. A/B Testing: Use A/B testing to experiment with different versions of your site to see which one performs better in terms of conversions.

  6. Content Marketing: Consider setting up a blog on your Shopify store to attract more traffic and engage potential customers through high-quality content.

By addressing these areas, you may be able to improve the conversion rate of your Shopify store.
