Need to confirm URLs in goal completion path for Google Analytics

Hey folks,

I'm trying to confirm the URLs in my funnel path so I can set up Google Analytics reporting on cart abandonment rate and our cart recovery efforts.

The article Setting up Google Analytics goals and funnels gives some information, but it only shows examples, and I need to verify the URLs that my store actually uses.

It suggests that the funnel path looks something like this:

/cart
/checkout/contact-info or /checkout/contact_info
/checkout/shipping
/checkout/payment

How do I find out which URLs my particular store actually uses in its completion path? It seems like this should be an answerable question, but Shopify support wasn't very helpful today.

Thanks in advance for any information you can share.

Best,

AK

Hey AK,

I am facing exactly the same challenge right now. So I am just wondering if you had any clarification on this you could share? Or maybe you tried in GA and saw whether it worked or not? Would love to hear about your experience with this!

Cheers, Lenarei

@lenarei@JonWright just provided a helpful answer in his reply to my original post.

I also found and adopted this elegant solution from Charles Farina:

If you use Data Studio, that's a great approach.
