Need to delete store created from partner account.

Hi,

I got a Shopify partner account. I had created a total of 5 stores. But I need to delete them all. 

Is there any way to delete my previously created store permanently from my Shopify partner account?

Hey @shihan!

Your question is a great one.

It is indeed possible to remove Shopify Stores that you are no longer working on. If you no longer need to work on a developmental store and wish to remove it, then this can be done via your partner dashboard. After you archive a store, you can unarchive it later if you want to continue working on it.

Once you archive a store, it no longer appears in the list of stores on the Stores page in your Partner Dashboard. Please follow my steps below in order to do this:

1. From your Partner Dashboard, click Stores.
2. Beside the store you want to archive, click Actions > Archive.
3. Click Archive store.

If you need to restore a store that you've archived, then you can unarchive it following the below steps:

 

1. From your Partner Dashboard, click Stores.
2. Click the Archived tab.
3. Beside the store you want to unarchive, click Unarchive.

Note: This does not delete the store, and the stores will still appear in dropdowns. If there is no way to completely delete a store, Shopify should at least update the logic of the dropdowns to remove archived stores from the UI. The only place they should be visible is the "Archived" section of the stores list.
