New Admin Update, can no longer update quantities when adding new product

Hi,

As of last week the process has changed for adding new product.  Why would they change this?  It seems so much more tedious now.  When trying to add/edit quantities for each location, the option is now grayed out in the drop down menu.  Now we have to go into each individual variant and add quantities from there.  Does anyone know if there is a way to edit quantities all at once for a location?  As it was previously?
