I've been updating our shop's loyalty program and have been testing things out by logging in as a customer to view the customer-facing designs on our site. However, yesterday afternoon I started having an issue - Suddenly I'm not receiving the 6-digit login code in my email when I try to login with my main email address. I enter my email address and click "continue", and it says a 6-digit code has been sent to my email, but no email comes through.
I have checked junk, spam, and every other email folder. The email simply isn't there.
I've tried on Safari as well as Chrome.
I've tested with different email addresses and it does seem to be working for other emails. But I'm concerned about why it doesn't seem to be working with this one particular email address, and whether some customers might have issues as well.
Can anyone help with this?!
Hey @AdelinaSG could you please quickly take a look if your email os blocked by Shopify or not. To check please follow this.
Go to Shopify Admin > Customers and check if the email is blocked for some reason.
Shopify might have flagged your email for too mant login attempts or unusual activity.

Thanks for sharing the ScreenShot. Based on your ScreenShot I can see easily that customer is Subscribed to the Email. Since the email is subscribed to marketing, Shopify should be able to send emails, including login codes.
Please follow the Next Steps to Troubleshoot.
Test Sending a Manual Email: Try sending a test email to sarah@adelinasocial.com from your own email to see if it gets delivered.
Please try these methods. Let me know if this fix the issue or reach me out.

I'm not seeing where I can access the email log. When I go to notifications, I can see the different email types and click on each of them to see what they look like or edit the code. But I don't see a log of sent emails. I also don't see where to access the login code email.
I tried manually sending an email from the customer account page, and that didn't come through either. So that's interesting.

No, still no solution. It's so strange because it seems like it just happened all of a sudden the other day - one minute I was able to get the codes and log in, and then I tried again after making some updates and couldn't. But I know it's not from the updates I made.
It seems like for the most part other email addresses that I try are able to log in, so I'm hoping it's something weird with my email, but it still concerns me that maybe other customers will have issues.
