no sales from 3k plus visitors.

I started up in September 2022.  Have had little traffic, but over 3k.  I have had people add to cart but not check out.  Have ad campaigns with google ad, Microsoft advertising, and have created a smart ad.  The free ads place the most expensive items I have first.  My questions:

        1) Can I change the content of the free ads?

               a) How?

        2) What am I doing wrong?

Please take a look at my store and please give feedback on what you see and find.  I am open to any criticism anyone had.  I really need this site to succeed.  I am too far into it with the amount of $ I have spent to quit now.  It would be detrimental to me.

The site:  t-n-t (trends & trinkets)

I would and will appreciate any and all comments, suggestions or anything that will help me figure out what needs to be done to succeed with this drop shipping business.

Lastly, I have things set to drop ship worldwide.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Kristy Powell

Hi,

Here are some feedback from me on your site, and I apologise in advance if any of it comes too blunt.

1) On your home page, you literally are telling people the "This website is under construction. Please excuse our dust." This is really weird. This does not give any confidence to people to buy from you. If you have not even finished your website, why should they spend money with you and be your guinea pig? You can continue to work on improving your website, in fact, all of us do regularly update or enhance our website, but you don't go around to tell your customers that your site in under construction. That literally tells people you have not set up your website properly yet.

2)Your homepage looks like any other failing drop shipping website that has not made any efforts on it. Given how bare it looks, I would be really surprised if you tell me you had spend a lot of time or money on designing this site.

3)What does Express You even mean? It makes no sense at all.

4)The cover photos you have for collections don't match the collection theme itself, and your product mix is confusing. For example, why are backpacks in health and beauty?

5)Your product photos still have watermarks from the Chinese companies that you are drop shipping from. I mean seriously, how much less effort can you put in?

6) Flannel blanket wrap? Honestly, what is it? There is no product descriptions and your photo looks like a tortilla wraps. I don't think I have been more confused. You lack product description on all your products. Again, you need to give people reason to buy your products. Why they need to buy it and what is the benefits to them?

7) There seems to be problem with the theme you are using. When you are in the product page, the dropdown menu shop navigation menu is hidden by the product picture. You should tell the Theme developer to fix that. That shouldn't happen.

😎 It is down to personal choice, but I do not like your logo. The font / styling makes it look a bit blurry. Also it is weird that it is at the bottom of your page, not at the top.

Honestly, instead of spending money to drive traffic to your site, you need to re-do everything first. Dropshipping is a highly competitive market, you need to stand out from your competitors. I literally cannot see a single person right now would be willing to buy from your website. Stop wasting your money on ads and learn about how to build a successful eCommerce website. Here are some very basic beginner friendly pages from Shopify to get you started. At least have a look at some of the more successful brand to understand what good looks like. If you can't do it yourself, then do yourself a favour, hire someone who can, rather than wasting your money to drive traffic.

Hi, @trendstrinkets

Welcome to the Shopify Community. Thanks for posting!

It sounds like your ads are working, but your store itself is not converting. While ads are pivotal to getting traffic, your store needs to be alluring enough to convert that traffic into sales.

I took a look at your site and you're off to a great start! I do, however, have some suggestions. However, it appears you enabled your password page. Can you please provide your store password so I can have another look and provide my feedback?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for joining the conversation!

I took a look at your store, and the biggest issue is your store is very visibly dropshipping. This is something you want to avoid.

The way to prevent this is to ensure you select a product niche, instead of selling products from all different unrelated categories. Ask yourself, would you rather buy sunglasses from a business that also sells lawn mowers? Or, would you purchase them from a retailer that specializes in sunglasses?

Additionally, you want all of your product images to be of the same. For example, you don't want to have one picture of your product in use, and another product of a product on a cluttered background. Keep the images clean and simple. For example product shots on a white background.

I hope that helps!
