Hi everyone,

I've had my store open for a couple of months now, and while there is traffic coming to my site, I've only made one sales so far. I've been running Facebook and Google ads, which have generated impressions and brought in some visitors, but the sales haven't picked up yet. Need help!!!!

If you're getting traffic but not conversions, it’s crucial to analyze your store’s user experience, product pricing, and audience targeting. Check your Shopify analytics to see where visitors drop off—if they leave at checkout, there might be trust or pricing issues.

Make sure your landing pages are optimized, with clear product descriptions, strong call-to-action buttons, and trust signals like reviews and secure payment badges. Also, refine your ad targeting—ensure your Facebook and Google ads reach the right audience by testing different creatives, audiences, and ad copy to see what resonates best.

Hi @Yabi

It's awesome that you're getting traffic to your store, your products looks amazing with its fresh Ethiopian coffee and Lion’s Mane/Chaga benefits.

Since your ads are driving visitors but not converting, let’s tweak a few things: first, check your product page, those five-star reviews are gold, so highlight them front and center with a reviews app like Judge.me to build trust

Then, I see, your $18.99 price point is great, but consider adding a limited-time offer (like a discount or free shipping over $35) to nudge hesitant buyers over the edge

Also, make sure your Facebook and Google ads are targeting the right crowd, coffee lovers and health enthusiasts; using specific interests and retargeting past visitors to reel them back in

Hello @Yabi, I’m a Shopify solutions expert from Mageplaza. To help you improve your conversion rate, here are some recommendations:

Experiencing a high cart abandonment rate can be discouraging, particularly after working hard to drive traffic. If many potential customers exit before finalizing their purchase, your conversion rate is likely taking a hit.

To tackle this issue, you can:

  • Send Reminder Emails: Following up with customers about their abandoned carts can encourage them to return and complete their purchase.
  • Provide Incentives: Discounts or free shipping can serve as effective motivators.

For additional strategies, you might find the Shopify Help Center helpful.

Since I haven’t had the chance to review your FB and IG ads, I can’t provide direct feedback on your landing page. However, insights from “Databox” highlight a few key aspects worth considering:

When your click-through rate (CTR) is high but conversions remain low, the issue often stems from the landing page—specifically, a weak or unclear call-to-action (CTA). To address this, make sure your CTA is prominent and compelling. A simple way to do this is by incorporating a clear “Buy Now” or “Read More” button, either as a clickable image with brief text or a standalone button.

I hope these tips prove useful! If you found this information helpful, a “Like” or marking it as a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Wishing you success!

Hi,

Understanding how visitors interact with your site is key to making improvements.

1. Use Analytics Tools
Google Analytics & Hotjar – Monitor visitor behavior to see where users are coming from and how they navigate your site.
Traffic Sources – Identify which channels drive traffic (social media, search engines, ads, etc.).
Drop-off Points – Find pages where visitors leave without making a purchase and optimize them.

2. Gather User Feedback
Run User Testing – Have friends, family, or hired testers go through your site and identify any pain points or confusing elements.

Making small but strategic improvements based on real user behavior can significantly boost conversions.

Hope this helps!
