All things Shopify and commerce
Hi,
I have a Shopify store which sells baby weaning products. The products are good quality. I have started this store like 7 months back. I am not getting any traffic there. So, I’m not concerned about conversion. Sometimes I do get 1/2 visitors per day but most of the time they are from other countries. I only sell products in the UK. I run a Google add for a month and managed to get only one sale recently. There were around 5 visits per day at that time. There is no point of spending 100s of pounds in advertisements if I am just making 1 sale. My page can be found in Google search. I started a Facebook add last week but I am not getting any visitors. I mean zero visitors. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I don’t have a budget for marketing. Also, I’m not willing to waste any money on marketing as I have wasted in the past and didn’t get any traffic to my website.
I was previously with blue host and transferred to Shopify 7 months back as I was having the impression that I will get more visitors here. I feel like the 25 pounds that I’m spending on Shopify is a waste as I hardly get one or two visitors per day.
People can comment saying my pictures are not good, there is not enough product, etc etc. But if this was the main issue than atleast I could have some visitors in my website without any conversion.
I know so many people buy baby products online. So, my website should have some traffic.
or should I just close Shopify and invest in Amazon and see how things goes.
I am really frustrated at this point as I have a lot of stocks but not getting any sales. I had plans to bring more products but I kept that on hold as I am not getting any traffic.
I’m in TikTok as well. I had free sales there in first few weeks. Or should I just advertise in TikTok ? Then the sale will be through TikTok and not Shopify.
