No Way to Access to DNS records

We have been advised by Shopify Support that our name-server records are unable to be accessed as they are held with Cloudflare (on behalf of Shopify) with whom we have no account. We were also told that we cannot claim the name-server records back through our registrar. Which means we currently have no way to verify our email addresses. Has anyone had a similar issue and what are the options?
