All things Shopify and commerce
Good evening,
It's been almost a week since I opened my website. I have been getting some traffic passing through on my website after running a few facebook and instagram ads.
Can someone honestly rate my store and provide useful feedback?
Hi DeluxeHaven,
I've had a good look into your site and what you have is amazing.
My suggestions to you would to try focus on marketing, meaning: SEO/Social Media Marketing/Paid AD's/Influencer Marketing.
The above suggestions are the main points of the 85% of ecommerce sales as of 2025.
There are multiple platforms online that can help you do this.
(im unsure if i'm allowed to post them on here) but if you type ''freelancer, social media marketing, FB AD's'' into google im sure you'll find a huge list of sites that have people waiting to help people like you.
Us too at Gabe & Syl use these methods and i can first hand say we will continue to use these services that we all have access too.
i hope this helps a little & we wish you so much luck with your project!
Hi @DeluxeHaven
Welcome to the community and congratulations on opening your store.
First, one advice, be patient and work on your store every day. You have the basic setup with a free theme and you are in the same spot as
thousands of other merchants at the start. So try to learn from them, and search here or on Google "No sales". There are hundreds of topics and a lot of good advice that people share that can be applied to your store also. Take your time and do some research.
But in general, here are a few things I noticed:
Homepage:
Collection pages:
Product page:
In general good start, but a lot more work ahead, both on the website and on social networks to share content and get more visitors naturally. Do check "jewelry UK" on Google and from the first page check every store and see what they are doing right.
Good luck and hope sales will come.
Hello @DeluxeHaven,
Great website! Its overall vibe conveys the elegance of your brand. However, I suggest you should improve the hero image and the call-to-action button on your homepage, as it negatively affects your sales, create descriptive product titles and product descriptions, and add reviews.
My Whidegroup team has huge experience in conversion optimization. There is a great example my team has done for a Japanese furniture and accessories store. You can find more details about it in the portfolio section on our website. (I'm not sure if sharing links is allowed here.)
Please, get in touch if you need any assistance.
Best regards,
Anastasia
Hi @DeluxeHaven ,
You've already received some great advice on optimizing your store for sales. I’d like to add a few more tips:
1️⃣ Add a favicon – A missing favicon can make your store look unpolished and less trustworthy. A simple icon can instantly improve professionalism.
2️⃣ Balance SEO & Advertising – While SEO is important, it takes time to see results. In the meantime, consider running ads and promoting your brand in niche forums to drive immediate traffic.
3️⃣ Analyze Visitor Behavior – Use Google Analytics or Hotjar to track where visitors are coming from and where they drop off. This can help you identify potential issues.
4️⃣ Get Feedback – Ask friends or family to browse your store and share their honest thoughts. Sometimes, an outside perspective can highlight things you may have overlooked.
Hope this helps!
