Notification of Issues (Register Summary not reporting correctly)

Called support after two days of register summary not reporting correctly and was told this was something that they knew about and had been working on for several days. I was also told not to worry that they had it under control. I asked was there somewhere I could have seen this to have known it was a problem or look for updates of it being repaired and I was told no, they only report these things to their support department internally. The representative said they had been inundated with calls the past several days from other businesses regarding this same issue. Wouldn’t it make sense for them to put some type of notice on the application and/or send a message to the emails on file to make us aware? So the end result of my call to support is that this is a known problem and they have no idea when this may be resolved….But, it is all “okay because they are taking care of it. This  left me feeling like I wasted my time calling customer support and I’m at their mercy. I assume they will repair this issue and when I see it working as it should I will know that the problem is resolved. Thanks Shopify 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️
