All things Shopify and commerce
Hi,
I’m facing a persistent issue trying to connect my domain to my Shopify store. Every time I attempt to add the domain, I receive the error:
"These domains couldn't be connected because the stores are frozen."
I’ve been in contact with Shopify Support since August, reaching out 12 times, but the issue remains unresolved. Each time, I was assured the problem would be fixed and I’d receive an email confirmation. Unfortunately, I have not received any emails, and the issue persists.
To provide more context:
This situation has been ongoing for months, and I urgently need assistance to resolve it. Please escalate this matter to a senior support specialist or provide a clear path to resolution.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
It sounds like there might be an issue with your Shopify store being mistakenly marked as "frozen" in their system, which is preventing domain connection. First, double-check that there are no billing issues or any unpaid invoices that could have caused your store to be frozen. If everything is clear on your end, I recommend contacting Shopify support again and requesting to speak with a senior specialist to escalate the issue. Additionally, ask them to manually verify your store status and ensure that your domain isn’t linked to a frozen account. Make sure to request a clear timeline for resolution. If the issue continues, consider reaching out on social media for faster attention.
