open ended pricing

with shopify basic, i am trying to set up a donation campaign as a "product",  how can i set up for open-ended pricing (donations of any size)

I am pretty sure you can't do this with Shopify basic but maybe there is a way programmatically that I can't think of.  I do know Stripe payments can create links that allow for donations. This would require you to sign up with Stripe though. It is free but they do take a % for the payment gateway as all gateways do. They have documentations on how to implement the 'no-code' option. Does your site sell anything or does it just take donations? If it just takes donations and only has a few 'products' you could actually get away with a completely free website minus the domain name.
