All things Shopify and commerce
Order confirmation mails comes from store+66295627989@t.shopifyemail.com instead of store configured mail with domain in it like xxx@domain.com. How to fix it? Or I cant since DMARC1 changed this?
Hey @prdonek441!
You just need to authenticate your domain. Once you have done so, you should be able to resume sending from your own custom email address.
Here's Shopify's guide for this: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/intro-to-shopify/initial-setup/setup-your-email#authenticate
My sender email is verified and I added dmrca via txt into Dns and checked via online checker. It said it is fine. But it still sends with that Store+66295627989@T.Shopifyemail.Com
Also in TXT record there was already one dmarc setting before like this: v=DMARC1; p=none
What should I do with this?
Should I extend it via rua:mailto ???
I'm having this exact problem. Domain verified. Triple-checked DNS entries with Shopify and Zoho. Checked DMARC, valid. DMARC policy set for same domain as in sender email settings. But still all outgoing email to confirm orders to my customers is @t.shopifyemail.com. I've been on the chat 5 times since January and I've given up hope that Shopify understands what's happening. The fourth chat, the advisor didn't even log the issue in their notes! Frustrated. Hope you're having better luck.
