All things Shopify and commerce
I no longer get an email notification with someone place an order through my shopify website.
So i have to manually go into orders and view once or twice a day?
Does anyone no why this is suddenly happening. I have a gmail email address and I think that is blocking the orders?
Thank you if any can help suggest doing something here?
Hi, @kooz! That sounds unusual, especially if you have been receiving the new order notification emails previously. And Gmail is generally very reliable when it comes to receiving Shopify generated emails, so let’s look into this!

Hey, @kooz. Ok, that’s great that they are at least reaching your inbox!
Google will be the best ones to advise you on how to ensure they stop flagging those incoming emails as Spam, so I recommend reaching out to them directly to inquire about it. However, I found some instructions in their Help Center for Mark or unmark Spam in Gmail. It's worth giving a try incase it's as simple as just 'unmarking' them as Spam.
Let me know if it works, or if I can help with anything else.

Hi
I don't get order notification whn I use the owners email, but when I use an another email, the notification gets trough. I have checked the spam filter, and I cant find it anywhere. Do you have a solution to this?

Hey, @Epleguten! Thanks for reaching out. That’s a very interesting situation.
Which hosting site does each email address use? For example: Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook. Have you tried removing your owner email from the list of recipients, then adding it back yet?
