@katelynnhostas ,

Welcome to the Shopify community.

Hope you are doing well. Here are a few suggestions.

Logo: You should need a proper logo to represent your brand. It should communicate your brand's message, values, and identity. It should be simple, distinctive, and memorable.

Logo Size: It’s important to note that your logo does not need to be exactly 410 pixels wide by 205px high.

Front Images: Use good quality featured and right dimension banner images with call-to-action buttons to captivate user attention. It should be resized images for mobile screens.

Please read these blogs:

Images should be in the best format.

Homepage: Homepage designs guide your visitors around your website. To engage visitors you need to work on the homepage layout design.

Include trust indicators on the homepage. Homepage content should be strategically decided. You can add a ‘Call to action banner’ ‘New arrivals’, ‘Top selling products, Most popular collection, announcement bar, Today's deals, and offers, etc on the homepage to engage users.

Your store should be clear navigation. The store should have easy to access the shopping cart.

Add Blog: You know creating/adding blogs gives you a great way to generate fresh content on a website and provide a catalyst for email marketing, and social media promotion to drive search traffic to your website.

Blogs build trust with your customers and improve shopify SEO ranking. Blogs can boost sales.

Trust Signals: Show off trust signals and customer testimonials to boost conversion. Customer testimonials and trust Signals build customers' trust and help customers to feel more secure in their buying decision.

Improve SEO, links, usability, and performance score to increase conversion & sales (Your page could be better)

Check your store with the Page insight tool to get the score. because the low mobile score can kill the website traffic and lose revenue. optimizing a Shopify site for high page load speed is a major priority.

Compare your store with your competitors. Also, compare your product price with others. Also, check the shipping cost you are offering.

Google Search Console :

Is your website exist on the search result page? (Your brand name). If yes then it's good to see, google is indexing and the user will reach you easily. Unless your store is completely invisible.

If you are not using the Google Search Console yet, set it up now. Google Search Console report will let you know if your pages are indexed or not at all. If none of your pages can be found by Google, then it may have an issue, as this means no organic traffic at all. And No traffic means no Conversion.

  • Find the Pages, Where You Lose the Most Customers. Convert More of the Shoppers Who Put Products in Their Carts. Check your store bounce rate.
  • Showcase How Popular Product Pages Are. Promote Offers With Push Notifications in the form of Popups or announcement bars. Optimize Your Product Pages.
  • Look at the difference between your New Visitors and your Returning Visitors. For most Shopify stores, your returning visitors will have a much higher conversion rate than your new visitors.

You need to focus on the following points........

  • Highlight product benefits clearly
  • Allow guest checkout.
  • Choose relevant keywords
  • Identify your target customers.
  • Use design to improve user experience.
  • Create Content That Converts
  • Mobile-friendliness
  • Check bounce rate regularly
  • Offer competitive prices
  • Send Relevant Emails
  • Make Use of First-time Offers

Hope these points will help you! We will share with you a free audit report of your store If you wish!

Hi @katelynnhostas

This is Richard from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App. After looking into your store, I have some comments below:

Here are some good points I can see from your site:

  • Hover effect for product media: enhance your custom
  • Hover effect for buttons: make these buttons stand out

I have a few more comments to make your pages even better:

1. Adjust your hero banner

Current design of the hero is not optimized. Here are some of my suggestions to make your hero banner better:

  • Change your background image: You should replace it with a higher-resolution image, it's a bit blurry.
  • Move the text down to the middle of the section to highlight your store's name and mission
  • You can consider adding overlay color on the image to make the text readable

This one is a perfect example:

PageFlyRichard_0-1677742329847.png2. Add ratings to your products

When customers browse your page, they will find star ratings useful. This lets them know what products are trending and getting positive feedback from similar buyers.

3. Showcase your Instagram or other social profiles

As usual, social media is one of the effective ways to get more traffic and make a good connection with your customers. Display social media such as Instagram and constantly update the feed.

4. Show your policies

Information on shipping and payment should be made clear from the first place. You should include this information below the hero banner. When the customers actively know your policies, they will be more likely to make purchases.

Take this one for example:

PageFlyRichard_1-1677742329433.png5. Add CTA buttons for products

When showcasing your products, you should not miss a chance to encourage your buyers to take actions. Therefore, adding a CTA button for each product will increase the chance of getting a deal. Add buttons below the prices and let your customers decide:

Moreover, International Women’s Day 2023 (IWD) is just around the corner. With the theme #EmbraceEquality, here are some worthwhile ideas for you to make the most of it:

1. Personalize your discounts and deals

You can offer sales, discounts or special deals to your female customers to make them feel more valued in IWD!

2. Show testimonials from female customers

You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos. Additionally, featuring women's portraits with their testimonials would make it even more engaging.

3. Spotlights female staff

This can be a great way to enhance your brand presence as a brand that supports equality for women. You can even promote your own business if it’s women-owned as it is probably a golden opportunity for you to receive the support and promotion from others.

Warmest regards,

Richard | PageFly

Hello Katelynn,

As you can see there are some pretty good insights and advice from fellow forum members. What I would like to add is that it is also important to have visibility, to see where the traffic/users navigate, which products, collections are visualised. When you have this data , you could analyse and take actions with confidence. Is it possible that after seeing what products users are browsing you could find out why they dont convert. This is where an app like https://apps.shopify.com/dhatma could help out, it gives you unmatched visibility on product level.

Good luck in your venture!

Hello @katelynnhostas,

Good day! Gina from flareAI app - free sales machine here to assist.

Having taken a close look at your store, I believe that the below suggestions could help drive sales.

1. Enhance your product pages by including a comprehensive and informative product description that highlights the key features and benefits of your product. This will entice potential buyers to make a purchase.

2. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product. Even sometimes by reading reviews, customers may look to understand whether your product will suit their particular situation and make the decision to purchase the product.
3. Add a form in the Contact Us page for better customer interaction.
4. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
5. Create a Facebook account for your store. Having a Facebook Store is a great way to grow your business, allowing you to tap into new audiences and gain more customers.
6. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
7. Make About Us more personal, likable, and believable so that, your prospects are more likely to be comfortable buying from you.
8. Developing an optimal SEO product title and URL can assist search engines in accurately identifying your products and increasing traffic to your online store. Hence, strive to create distinctive and precise product titles and URLs.

9. Add average ratings for each product
Including both user rating and number of ratings on the products will help users to make decision whether to buy your product or not.
10. Add CTA button like Shop Now, Buy Now in the Home page header banner or slideshow
The Call To Action(CTA) is a key element on a webpage, acting as a signpost that lets the user know what to do next. Without a clear CTA, the user may not know the next steps to take to purchase a product or sign up for a newsletter and is likely to leave the site without accomplishing their task.

11. Add data policies (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Refund Policy) to your store which helps set expectations with your website visitors. They'll know the types of data you're collecting, why you're collecting, protects the seller from bad customers and ensures that buyers know exactly what to expect when they order a product. Also, add the policy links to the footer.

I hope this is useful.

Hello, I think your website looks great. I think the crucial thing is that i don't know how to contact you or anything about the company. You've set up the pages but not filled in the information. If i'm going to buy something I need to know that your going to send the goods and that if i have a problem or need to return I know who to contact and your address. Julia

Hey there I’ve had a look at your store and I must say I was quite impressed with its features including the customer reviews sections. Here are some additions I think could prove helpful for you.

1) Add a FAQ page. This would help provide certain solutions to issues that people going through your store might have felt were unanswered before.

2) You should show customers what others are doing in your store, I came across something on your store referring people to sign up to know when sales are made. It’s a hood initiative but I think it’s just better to show them as it happens live from the moment they visit your store and for this purpose, I suggest the Show Recent Orders App. This app would help provide regular updates at the top of the store page with regards to recent activities taking by other customers in the store as a means of motivation. You can test the app yourself here https://apps.shopify.com/show-recent-orders
