Hi @YUNIYANA1

Welcome to Shopify Community.

Are you using any tools/Apps for SEO? Based on your comment "At first when i  open a page, it shows the page title , but when it done loading , it changes to its website name .", it seems like some app is modifying your titles.

Also, I am assuming that you've added Page Titles from Online Store -> Pages -> {Your page} -> Edit SEO.

If possible, please share your store URL so that I can view the issue on detail and provide you a solution.

Thank you.

Hello @YUNIYANA1

It could be better for only the website name to appear on browser tabs. Page titles are important for several reasons:

  • They help users easily identify which tab they have open, especially if multiple tabs from your website are open.
  • Page titles are a factor that search engines consider when ranking websites.
  • Clear and descriptive page titles improve the overall user experience by providing context about the page's content.

The fact that the page title initially shows up and then changes suggests there might be an issue with how your website is coded. Here are a couple of possibilities:

  1. Every webpage should have a title tag defined in the HTML code. This tag specifies the title that appears in the browser tab and search engine results. Check your website's code (or if you use a website builder, their settings) to ensure each page has a unique and descriptive title tag.

  2. Some websites use JavaScript to dynamically change the content of the page after it loads. A script may be unintentionally overwriting the title tag with the website name. You can try disabling JavaScript in your browser temporarily to see if the page title remains consistent. If it does, then you'll need to identify the specific script causing the issue and adjust it to preserve the title tag.
