Password store

Hi,

after creating my store I realised that the access is secured automatically by a password, meaning that no one can access to my store without the password!

i tried to remove it by clicking simply on “remove password” button by apparently it’s an inactive button!

someone can help plz! 🙏

This is an accepted solution.

@TNCosm You can only remove password protection from your online store after you pick a pricing plan. If you pick a plan while you are on a free trial, then you won't be charged any subscription fees until your free trial expires. More information can be found in our Help Center: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/password-page

I could remove that password protection, is that means that my store is already online?

That's correct! If the password is disabled, then it will be available to the general public.
