Payment instructions not appearing in confirmation email.

Hello, I am using a manual payment method along with the manual capture method on my store. Upon placing a test order, the email I receive says "Thank you for your purchase!" at the top. From my research into the default order confirmation notification email template, it should say "Thank you for your order!". Moreover, the instructions for the manual payment method do not appear in the email either. How could I fix this?
