Payment status still 'PENDING'

Dear Shopify Support Team,

 

This is Junaid, and I am new to Shopify. I currently run an eCommerce store on WooCommerce and decided to switch to Shopify after hearing positive feedback. I am currently on the $1 trial account, which ends on August 28th.

 

I have uploaded all my products and completed a test transaction after submitting and verifying my merchant account. However, it has been over 8-10 days, and the test payment of $2 has not been received in my linked bank account. The payment status still shows as "PENDING."

 

I have contacted support three times, but I have received the same response that the Merchant team is looking into it. As I am planning to go live on August 28th, this delay is holding me back from moving forward with my plans, including investing in a theme, monthly subscription, and G Suite.

 

Shopify has a strong reputation, and I had high expectations from the platform, but this experience has been disappointing. My ticket number is 49826041. If there is anything I might be missing or if you guys can help expedite this process, I would greatly appreciate it.
