Hello! Can someone please help me with my frustration. My website store has had shopify payouts that have not been paid to me for over 6 months. My orders have been getting shipped and customers have received them, but I have never gotten money. I can not understand why, as I need those funds to continue production costs . Please someone help me understand why I am not getting my money. Thanks.

Hi @designerdiamond
it may be because of following issues.
1. Payouts on Hold Due to Verification Issues
2. Reserve or Hold Applied by Shopify
3. Bank Account Issues
4. Payment Provider Issues

Can you please provide access of your store to connect with support for getting the actual issue?

Thanks

Hi @designerdiamond

I feel you, it sounds frustrating 🙂

First, check your Shopify Payments payout schedule at Settings > Payments to ensure there are no holds or verification issues. If Shopify has flagged your account for additional verification, you'll need to supply documentation like ID or business information.

Also, go to Settings > Balance and look for any "Payout Failed" notifications—that could be due to incorrect banking details. If everything looks good but payouts are still pending, contact Shopify Support directly and request an escalation.

Since it's been over 6 months, Shopify may be withholding funds due to a policy issue (e.g., chargeback risk or prohibited items). If that's the case, only Shopify support personnel can tell you why and what's next.

Hope you have it resolved soon!

We’ve been having the same issue and just reached out to support yesterday. Hoping to find a resolution for us all but seems like a common problem across mass users.
