I am getting desperate here. I am making sales, but not getting the payouts for nearly a month. Every time I open a support chat, they say this needs to be escalated and then no one reaches out to me. I cannot operate a business like this!!! Does anyone have any insight into how to resolve this??
Have the same problem, my payouts are on hold for since 3 weeks. When I contact the chat they always say the same thing " need to be escalated " need to prioritize" "need to put as urgent"... They are useless but I keep contacting them every SINGLE day.
My friend has the same issue, since one month no news. As you and me.
Let me know if you get any reply.
Good luck!
I FINALLY got a reply and a resolution. Here's what it took... I started another support chat (this is after I had already opened 5 previous support tickets). I basically refused to leave the chat without a resolution and I stated it had become an emergency (which it had, because I needed to pay off my credit card and I wouldn't have the funds to to so with payouts on hold). The support agent stated they would take it upon themselves to resolve this issue, and they did. I eventually got an email from credit.risk@shopify.com with a very basic list of questions/needs (I have no idea why they couldn't email that to me sooner). I gave them what they need and within a day or so they released the hold.
I just received a reply from Risk team today: after having my Shopify Payments on hold for 3 weeks, my store has been closed, and my payouts are being held for 120 days.
I’ve already submitted an appeal with all the required documents, but I’m not sure if it will change anything. The uncertainty is frustrating, and I’m hoping for some resolution soon.
Has anyone else gone through this process successfully? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
