Hello, I been having an issue with my payouts. I did register with wise business bank account, a few weeks ago I had my first order and it still says (Pending). Also I have set up to transfer my balance to my bank each Monday but nothing yet. I haven't received any emails from Shopify if my payouts have an issue. And I did upload my personal information.🤷

Thanks for sharing your query with us here in the Shopify Community.

 

If you're using Shopify Payments as your payment gateway in your store we would advise against using virtual bank accounts or money transferring services in place of an account with a physical bank.

 

While it is sometimes possible to add accounts like this to your payments account, it is more likely that you will experience issues with payouts such as you have described here.

 

In this case you can contact your service provider (Wise) or you can instead connect a regular bank account in order to be able to get your payouts.

 

If you're happy to confirm where in the world you are based, we can check for more info on the sorts of bank accounts accepted for use with Shopify Payments there.

I can let you know for general use the bank account associated with Shopify Payments must be:

 

* A checking / current account

* FPS (Faster Payment Service) transfers in IRE/UK

* The supported currency in the merchant's region

 

Specifically for the UK, this means it must be a GBP bank account located in the United Kingdom.
