My payouts have been stuck on pending for 2 weeks out of nowhere, since september 11th, this is the first time this ever happened, there is no explanation for why it's stuck on pending. I contacted support about this the moment it happened 2 weeks ago and they escalated my issue and told me payouts team would reach out. pay outs team still has not reached out, I have missed all of my scheduled payouts, I can't keep conducting my business without being able to receive payouts. the only thing support can tell me is that I have to wait on payouts team to respond, I even had somebody tell me that they would respond a week ago, and they never did.
there is nowhere to speak to somebody on shopify staff who you could actually get help from.
speaking to support feels like i'm just speaking to another A.I.
this is by far the worst costumer treatment I have received while working this store.
I had the same issue since 9/19. The only way I was able to resolve it was by getting an EIN number and adding it to my account info. (even though it is not needed if you are a US based seller setup as a Sole Proprietor).
Go into your Finance tab and see what they say the issue is. We had a banner that said "verify account before (some date in October) or your payouts will be held"

Thank you for your response! I tried checking my finance tab, but we don't have any banner with information needed. As for the EIN number, I want to try adding this, or see if this is needed, but I don't know where to add it. if you know where this is please let me know!
Look in your settings, it's gotta be in there somewhere under account profile. We started getting a banner and message that we had to update info before 10/3/24 but it is gone and everything has been working properly.
