phantom line of text on products page template

I found what I'm looking for with the help of Google Search Extension. Not sure why some folks on here make things appear difficult when they are not.

My products page template has a line of text saying "free shipping over $199". It is not dynamic or variable. Just hard coded from somewhere. My former programmer put it there and I cannot locate where it is. It was not added as a block on the template so it must be in the code somewhere. Can you please advise where I should look for this as I want to remove it. Thank you in advance.

No. I'm very familiar with editing the code. I have a backup also. I just need to be pointed as to where to look. I'm guessing you already know where to look. It's ok, I'll wait for someone to advise suggestions on where I can search. Thank you though.

They may have not hard coded it. Copy the text and go into custom content settings. You can find it by clicking the r dots in the editor. 

From there search the text "Free shipping over $199"

If not, it's likely under templates > default product template in the code. Go in there and try to also search for the text.

It's hard to diagnose without a link but I understand you don't wish to share, but hopefully one of these suggestions help.

Since you're using the Dawn theme, the 'Free Shipping over $199' text is likely hardcoded in one of your theme files. Try checking sections/main-product.liquid, sections/product-information.liquid, or snippets/product-meta.liquid by searching for 'Free Shipping' or '$199'. If it's not there, also check locales/en.default.json for any translations.

If possible, could you share a screenshot of the Inspect Element (right-click > Inspect) for this text? That will help identify where it's coming from. Let me know, and I'd be happy to help further!

Found it with the help of Google Search extension. It was in en.default.json
