PLEASE HELP ME PAUSE/DELETE THIS ACCOUNT

I made an account a few months ago and did not think I was still being charged. I am not using or now will I use it but they will not let me cancel it without paying an invoice for this month except I DO NOT WANT THE STORE & I do not owe money because the invoice is for the next month. Please help me DELETE this account so I can unlock my card or I will have to dispute the charges.

You'd have to reach out to Shopify's support directly, if you're unable to login to the store. 

 

If you are able to login to the store's admin, then you can go into Settings > Plan > Deactivate Store.

As @StephensWorld mentioned, you'll need to get in touch with our live support team so that we can take a look at helping you deactivate the store from our end. Seeing as you have a pending charge, the system will only allow you to close the store if you pay for that charge.

 

For context, if your store is subscribed to a monthly Shopify subscription, you'll be invoiced for and will need to pay for the following 30 days in advance, as explained here. As you're looking to close your store and will therefore no longer use Shopify's services for the next 30 days however, contacting our live support team will allow us to access your store from our end in order to help you with your next steps with this matter.

 

So from here, please navigate to our Help Center here and type contact support in the chat box. Follow the prompts given by the virtual chat assistant, and you'll then be connected to one of our live support team members who can assist you further.
