We are taking pre-orders for our product and people are willing to wait a considerable amount of time before they receive their product. We are wondering if there is a maximum amount of allowable time between taking the order with payment and the fulfillment date?

Does this apply to pre-order apps with Shopify only or if you just indicate that this is a pre-order we should be fine? I thought I read somewhere that there is a max of 30 days before a refund is issued to the customer by Shopify.
Not that I am planning on going that long but I need to make sure Shopify isn’t going to just refund if the fulfillment isn’t done within days.
