prefill email address in customer account link?

Hello.

I've had some success in the past passing along an email address from one platform to another. Basically, what I want to do is create a link in my LMS with the email already added so when it is clicked, it goes to the account login page with the email form already filled out. It is often something like ?email="address@email.com" or similar.

Any idea if this is possible, or what the format is if it is?
