Problems changing to a new myshopify.com domain

Hi,

I am setting up my online store and I want to change to a more branded myshopify.com domain. My store name is Tenguerengue. When I was creating my account it was not obvious the option to choose a myshopify.com domain or I didn't see it.

Now when I try to change it to my store name, it says that is already taken but if I put tenguerengue.myshopify.com on the browser, it says that that store doesn't exist.

Can anybody help please? Thanks!

Hey, @CristinaTAW.

Thanks for reaching out and posting this question!

If you're looking to change the Shopify URL, then we've got a step-by-step guide on how to do that here - Choose a new myshopify.com domain name. However, if the domain has been taken and it's not available, then you'll need to change it to another URL.

If you're still unable to view your store, then it looks like we'll need to take a closer look at your account in order to resolve the problem. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to continue assisting you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.
