Product Image Upload Via CSV Failing

Hi all.

I am trying to bulk upload products & images as migrating from Woo to Shopify and am getting the below error message. The frustrating this is I trialled the upload with a few products last week and images came across fine, but when I tried again today with a bulk upload of 100 or so SKUs, each with multiple images, it failed. Now even when I try one product with one image I get this error message.

"image failed to download. - file not found. Check that file can be found at your URL"

Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi @deej3107 , sorry to hear you're having trouble uploading the images. From the error it seems like there's images referenced in the CSV file that point to URLs that don't exist anymore. Could you check the spreadsheet file to make sure the image URLs in there still open for you in your browser?

If they do open but you're still getting the error, would you be able to share the spreadsheet so we can take a look?

Best,
Daniel

Could you please share your WooCommerce store URL and an example product image URL from your store? It seems like the image URL in CSV can't be accessed via the Internet. I would try to open the image URL in incognito to see if it is actually accessible.

check the image urls as on the file, most likely it starts with "http://" replace it with "https://", this was the issue in my case
