Product Images fading away on new products (Brooklyn Theme)

Hello! We've been using the Brooklyn theme for 8 years. Recently added products have trouble with the the images "fading away" when the product is opened on our website. This is a new issue within the last week. All previously created products work fine. If I "duplicate" a functioning product, the duplicate has the same fading problem. Shopify Support thinks it's a coding problem. Any advice? Thanks in advance for your help!
