Thanks for the update @hmfedders. I took a look at some test products in my own store, and I think I found the issue.
In the CSV file, each ROW must have a handle/title. So each line for your variant colors needs to have the handle/title cell filled in. Please see my screenshot below to show what I mean:
The product is Bottled Starlight, and it has a range of variants in colors and containers. Each variant line needs to have a handle/title in order to know what product the variant is connected to.

Hello! I saw you post. The error can actually be fixed. But the link sent is not responding.
Okay, I'm going through it now
What part of the chart aspect are you having problem with? Is it the color, tag, or what?
Hi, I am new to Shopify. I am evaluating import of products and data from my existing Etsy store. Can someone clarify if the data or product on Etsy will be erased? I mean will the store on Etsy will still be alive..
Regards
Is this your physical product? And you want to import from etsy to shopify?
Hi and thank you @hmfedders for sharing a link to your sample CSV file you are working on. I had a look and the error you are seeing is most likely from having an incomplete CSV file upon import.
There is a lot of data missing in your CSV file, like is the product taxable, does it require shipping, etc.
I recommend in situations like this to make one of your products manually in the admin and then export out the one product to use as your own custom template to see what information is needed in your CSV file. Most of it can be duplicated from that point to easily fill in the blanks of the other products.
You can also reference the information in our Help Center for columns that must have a value.
