Hi! I'm hoping someone can help with this ongoing issue.
We occasionally see items added to our shopping cart while browsing through our website, even though we don't click the Add to Cart button.
We've chatted Shopify Plus support, and they're looking into it, but maybe someone here has dealt with this before

Your issue of items being added to the cart automatically could be caused by a script or app running in the background. Possible reasons include an AJAX cart issue, an upsell or gift app (like PickyStory or Product Customizer), a custom theme script triggering cart updates, or third-party tracking scripts (like Facebook Pixel or Rebuy). To fix this, check your console errors, disable any recently added apps, review custom JavaScript in `theme.liquid` or `cart.js`, and temporarily turn off tracking scripts in Shopify Preferences.
