All things Shopify and commerce
I'm helping to organize a plant sale at my daughter's school. We've used Shopify to sell pre-orders, which will all be picked up at the school. We'll need to unload lots of plants from trucks and then pick all the pre-orders and set them aside.
I'm thinking a decent way to manage the picking situation would be to have boxes set out with each order number on them and then when someone takes a flat of plants off a delivery truck, they could get a sheet for that type of plant that lists each order number that includes that type of plant. Then they could walk around and drop off plants in each appropriate order box. Any leftovers are going to be sold at our day-of public sale, so they could put them in their relevant spot.
When I look at the inventory in Shopify, I see a "Committed" column and can drop down on the number to see all the order numbers and quantities of a specific product that are committed. But exporting the inventory does not include the order numbers.
Is there any way to get this info without going line by line and taking a screenshot of the order numbers and quantities? Or doing data entry? We have about 150 different plants, so that would be a major pain. It seems like it must be possible, but I'm very new to Shopify.

I'm realizing I can mess with an orders export and this might be my best option. I wish pivot tables would display text, though!

Have you considered using the Sales by Product report, filtering to unfulfilled and adding order name as a column?
This works the same as messing with an orders export in a spreadsheet! Thanks!
