All things Shopify and commerce
Hi there,
I've recently set up several Manual collections, so that when I create product pages I can just select the collection I want the product to appear in. However, the products are not appearing in the collection on my storefront. I've double checked to make sure that the products are active (and not in draft), but the product still isn't appearing in the collections. I've also removed all tags for the products.
Just as a test, I created a fake product and selected that it should appear in all of my manual collections, and for some reason it's only showing up in one collection, which is even more strange.
Does anyone have any suggestions for resolving this?
Thanks!
Hi, @DF88,
Thank you for sharing that you have made sure these products are made to available.
Now, we can try to check if the correct collection is the one linked to your storefront by following these steps:
Once you click on the symbol, it will lead you to the collection page you have linked to your theme. This is a great way to see if the correct collection is linked which I am thinking is not which is why it is not displaying your products as intended.
Another way to troubleshoot this is to ensure that said collection has been made available to your online channels. Feel free to checkout this link for instructions on how to do that.
I hope this can resolve this matter for us but it's possible we may need to do some more troubleshooting. Give these a try and let me know how these work out for you. If you can also share what your settings look like on your end, that will also be helpful. Any information you have on your end that you can share will be appreciated as it can help us narrow down the issue at hand.

Hi @Daniel,
Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to resolve this issue. I've checked my collections as per your suggestion, and they appear to be linked correctly and they are also active on my sales channels.
I've included two screenshots below. The first one is for the settings of one my collections, which shows a test product ("book history test") in the collection. The second screenshot is from the collection page on the store website itself, which has a "sorry, there are no products in this collection" message. Again, this is just an example and all of my collections (except for one) have this issue.
If there is any other information that I should provide to help with this issue, please let me know!
Thank you,
Dave
Hi again @Daniel,
I just wanted to follow up on my most recent message -- would you be able to provide any further help with this issue?
Could anyone else speak to whether they've run into something similar?
Thank you,
Dave
Hey, Dave!
Thank you for your patience in my response. You're definitely right that I need more information from you to further troubleshoot this.
Are you able to share with me your theme settings regarding this collection? I would also like to see your navigation settings. Any screenshots that you are comfortable sharing will be much appreciated.
Your store link can also be useful. I would like to see how your site is looking publicly as well.
I look forward to hearing back from you and getting more information regarding this issue. However, you also have our Live Support Team at your disposal for queries like this. If you are on a time-sensitive schedule, you can also consider reaching out to them for a more immediate reply.
