Hello,

Products that I have ‘archived’ or saved as ‘draft’ will mysteriously become ‘active’ on their own. Even though, I have not saved the products as ‘active’. This creates a major problem on my store, because it’s showing products that I do not want to sell as available for sale. This has been a daily, on-going problem for about a month now. I have searched the community help boards, contacted support services, chatted with live support advisors, and no one can help me.

@AmuseH2O The problem stems from the possibility of an app, sales channel, or automation rule that might be overriding your product status. Here are a few important steps to check and fix the problem. Check installed apps, API activity log (Shopify plus only), Look at shopify flow, Review sales channels.
If you’ve attempted all this and Shopify Support does not seem to have a solution, the next step could be to ask for a log review from the technical team at Shopify so that the cause of change can be identified.
