All things Shopify and commerce
I'm operating a Shopify store and want to publish select products to Instagram, Amazon, and Google Shopping. These products should meet specific criteria: they must come from 3 specific vendors and have a price exceeding $2,000. Additionally, I'd like to achieve automatic listing updates whenever product information (including quantity and price) is modified in Shopify.
Could you please advise on the best approach to achieve this goal and the associated costs?
Hi @Dzyno
You’re looking to publish select products from Shopify to Instagram, Amazon, and Google Shopping based on specific criteria (vendor + price > $2,000) while ensuring automatic updates. Here's how you can do it:
Since you need multi-channel publishing with automatic updates, the best method is to use Shopify’s built-in sales channels along with a third-party app for Amazon.
Shopify provides a free Google & YouTube sales channel, which syncs your products directly with Google Shopping.
1️⃣ Install the "Google & YouTube" sales channel from Shopify’s App Store.
2️⃣ Set up your Google Merchant Center account and link it to your Shopify store.
3️⃣ Use an automated collection to filter products based on your criteria:
Cost: Free (unless you run paid Google Shopping ads).
Shopify provides the Facebook & Instagram sales channel, which allows you to sync select products to Instagram Shopping.
1️⃣ Install the "Facebook & Instagram" sales channel in Shopify.
2️⃣ Connect your Meta Business Manager and ensure your Facebook Shop & Instagram Shop are set up.
3️⃣ Filter eligible products by selecting the automated collection (same as Google Shopping).
4️⃣ Enable product syncing so updates (pricing, stock) happen automatically.
Cost: Free (unless running ads on Meta).
Unlike Instagram and Google, Shopify does not have a built-in Amazon integration, so you need a third-party app.
Amazon by CedCommerce ($39/month+) – Best for selective product sync & real-time updates.
Amazon Channel (Shopify's official app) – Discontinued, so not an option anymore.
Sellbrite ($19/month+) – Multi-channel sync for Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
1️⃣ Install Amazon by CedCommerce or Sellbrite.
2️⃣ Connect your Amazon Seller Account.
3️⃣ Set up product sync rules:
Cost: $19-$39+/month depending on the app.
Each sales channel automatically updates prices, stock, and descriptions whenever you modify them in Shopify, as long as: ✔ The product is already synced with the platform.
✔ The correct Shopify collections or filters are applied.
For Amazon, you need an integration app like CedCommerce to sync updates in real time.
✔ Use Google & YouTube + Facebook & Instagram Shopify sales channels (FREE).
✔ Use CedCommerce or Sellbrite for Amazon ($19-$39/month).
✔ Set up an automated collection to filter the correct products for syncing.
If you need more help setting this up, let me know! Thanks.
Daisy.
