Hi,

I chose the domain I wanted, and when I paid it had switched (possibly a slip of my thumb) to the one I didn’t want. I need co.uk especially, rather than .com

how do I get this changed?

really appreciate any help with this.

Hi, @Pixie2.

Rio here from the Shopify Community team.

When you buy a domain, you own it for the upcoming year. Domains are intangible and irreversible digital assets, and hence, as stated in the 'Domain Registration Agreement' provided during the purchase, they are non-refundable. However, if you have mistakenly misspelled the domain and purchased a new one with the correct spelling, you can reach out to our team at help.shopify.com, at the bottom of the page, and ask them directly. They can look into this for you to see if we can get you a refund in this specific case.

Once you've resolved that, be sure to set up your Shopify Email app as well to get started with email marketing

Hi there, thanks for your reply.

I managed to sort it on live chat, the domain was revoked and I was refunded which was possible due to it being so soon after I bought it.

thanks for your help.
