Putting Blog on Subdomain While both are still hosted on Shopify

I  want to start a new blog which I want to put on a subdomain. Can I host this blog on the site's shopify?

If not, can i at least add the existing blog on shopify to the subdomain while the rest of the site is on the main domain?
