Question about Using Wildcard SSL for Subdomains with Shopify

Hello All,

I currently have my main website, abc.com, hosted on Shopify, and Shopify provides an SSL certificate for the primary domain. However, I'm interested in securing a subdomain, orderhistory.abc.com, on a separate web server using a wildcard SSL certificate for old customer to view their order history which before this website migrated to shopify.

My question is: Can I purchase and install a wildcard SSL certificate with a subdomain on a different server? Will there be any compatibility issues or considerations I need to be aware of when doing this alongside Shopify's SSL certificate?
