All things Shopify and commerce
hey Guys,
When I want to purchase a domain I get a notification that my "Address must not contain special characters". what should I do now?

Hi there, @HTE!
Thanks for sharing your query with us here in the Shopify Community.
The address in question here would be your store address, rather than the domain address, as indicated by the option to 'edit store information' as shown in your screenshot.
It would be necessary to only use standard Latin alphabet characters and numbers, and not to use any accented or language-specific characters (á, é, ß, etc).
Can you update your store info as outlined before attempting to purchase a domain again and let me know how that goes for you?
Would you be setting up your store for launch still, or have you been selling for a while already?

@HTE don't use special character like underscore, hyphen, comma, semicolon, greaterthan, lessthan, hashtag use only alphabets and number in your domain.
I did a screenshot in which I only used the alphabet.

yes, it works!
I'm just starting to setup the store.
That's great, glad to hear it!
If you're still building out your store, our webinars are a great tool for learning your way around.
Can you tell me a little about your business and the types of products you're working on?
Have you thought about what you'll be doing in terms of marketing and promoting your store, or do you have a marketing plan in place?
