"Mention Staff" function

Hello,

In the timeline associated with anorder 

I would like to use the "Mention Staff" function to tag myself, so I recieve an email I can red flag in my inbox.

This function does not seem to work when I mention my name. It does work when I mention another teams name.

Has there been any update on this function?  It would be extremely helpful to mention myself in timeline to go back to an order at a later date.
