hi!

i've tried this a few times now - importing a domain i own and have not used anywhere else from Google Domains

each time i import the authorization code it simply comes back with a small pop up "Server Error !" at the bottom of the page and then sends me back to the settings page

any advice?

TYSM!

Hey, @sleepyleaf.

Thank you for reaching out and posting this question.

When transferring a domain to a different domain provider, there may be a restriction placed on domains purchased within the last 60 days. If you'd like to learn more about this process, then we'd recommend taking a look at this guide from Google Domains: Transfer from Google domains to another registrar. However, if the domain was purchased more than 60 days ago, then you'll need to make sure that the domain is unlocked under the Registration settings and then you can get the auth code to initiate the transfer. If you need further support with transferring the domain, then you can always get in touch with Google Domains Help

That being said, I noticed that you're a new member of our Shopify Community and I'd love to hear more about your business. What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
