"Show All Results" not working in Search Bar

Hi,

My search bar is working partially, if you click on a product or collection result it seems to be fine, but if you click on 'Show all results for ... ' it goes to an error page. Any ideas what is causing this?

This can be a broken code for the Search page.

For example, your https://www.poisonarrow.com.au/search results in error while it should be showing the
search form like https://impulse-theme-apparel.myshopify.com/search does.

If you go to Theme => Customize and select Search from the top line page selector dropdown -- does it work?

You should have other themes in your store, can you go to the search page in Cusomizer in those themes? If yes, then it's most probably a theme code issue, if not then you should reach out to Shopify support and report that Search does not work in your store....

I just tried the search via Theme => Customize and select Search from the top line page selector dropdown and it worked ok, does that mean I need to get on to the theme developer to fix it?

Hmm. Sometimes theme code work in Customizer but not in preview/live, so it's not a 100% guarantee.

Worth contacting the theme support anyway.

Since I can't see what you see in Customizer and do not know  if/what you've modified in your theme code it's hard to be precize.

I'd try disabling sections on the search page one by one to see if it will help to isolate the problem.

Also, try installing a fresh theme copy from the theme store and try visiting the /search page, both in customizer and theme preview --  theme dev would start with these same steps anyway.
